Shirebrook-based SDI Property Limited has applied to Nottingham City Council to install Sports Direct branding and signage on the front of the building.

Plans show that the new store would also sell Game and USC products, with both brands subsidiaries of Frasers Group.
It’s not yet known if the existing Sports Direct store in Clumber Street will be affected by the proposals.
The application was validated by Nottingham City Council on May 20 and is now pending consideration.
