Much-loved music shop Fopp is returning to Nottingham this summer

A popular music and entertainment chain is returning to Nottingham four years after its previous store closed.
HMV-owned Fopp had a shop in Broadmarsh until the shopping centre closed in mid-2020, but now the brand is set to make a sensational comeback to the city.

Hide AdThe new 2,024 sqft store in Bridlesmith Gate will become Fopp’s sixth UK shop when it opens on Friday, June 7.
The shop is set to be a haven for die-hard fans of music, film and TV, with a wide range of specialist products on offer across all genres to suit all tastes.
Customers will be able to browse over 4,000 vinyl albums, 8,000 different CDs and 2,700 different Blu-ray and 4k titles.
Six jobs are set to be created by the new shop, which will be open between 9.30am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am and 5pm on Sundays.

“We’re delighted to be bringing our offering to Nottingham where we can cater to an even wider range of eclectic and specialist tastes.”
All customers making a purchase will also be entered into a special lucky dip on opening day.
Starting as a one-man stall in Glasgow in 1981, Fopp went on to become one of the UK’s favourite music and entertainment brands.
