Nottingham’s Victoria Embankment is to host a huge new music festival featuring a chart-topping band this September. 

Music fans have been promised electrifying music, entertainment, and fun for all during the inaugural Weekend Festival on September 21 and September 22.

Among the 60 confirmed acts are Scouting for Girls, Toploader and Boyzlife.

 

The festival will also offer BMX sports displays, live comedy, and circus performances. 

Attendees will be able to satisfy their taste buds with an array of artisan food and drink offerings, from gourmet delicacies to street food delights.

Spearheaded by Robert Young and Paul Brodie, the festival aims to raise awareness and support for select charities in the UK and the Philippines.

Paul and Robert said: “The idea of using music as a means to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and communities has always resonated deeply with us.

Weekend adult tickets are priced at £41.60, with children £10.40.
