The event, which attracted 5,000 visitors last year, is set to return bigger and better than ever before, with more than 40 breweries in attendance.

Three drinking sessions will take place over the two-day festival, each lasting around five hours.

Street food vendors will be on hand to ensure that those in attendance don’t embark on a drinking session while hungry.

Live music is scheduled across the event, including both DJ and acoustic sets from local artists.

Festival organiser Al Gilby said: “Nottingham Craft Beer Festival isn’t just for those with a craft beer obsession.

“Our ever growing festival is an opportunity to enjoy a unique location in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.

“We’re probably the only beer festival in the country that has a record shop, an art gallery and an antique shop open on the festival site.

“You’ll also get a lovely festival glass to take home afterwards and a paper bag at the exit to increase your chances of getting it home in one piece.”

Everyone attending the festival will be given a free commemorative glass.

Tickets are priced at £13.20 and can be purchased here.
