A new Nottingham games venue with ten pin bowling, beer pong and pool is set to open next month, with its location now confirmed.
The new Roxy Lanes entertainment complex, located on the ground floor of The Pod, next to the Lace Market tram stop, will open on Friday, June 28.

Unlike the venue’s existing sister site, Roxy Ball Room at The Cornerhouse, the Roxy Lanes venue will be open to everyone, not just over 18s.

Sam Hall, associate director at Innes England, who facilitated the deal for the new site, said: “This will be a great injection of new blood into The Lace Market’s already vibrant and thriving nightlife.
“We were originally engaged with The Pod’s landlord to provide advice across all the commercial elements, including the retail units and the offices across the upper floors.

“We were able to marry up the space with Roxy Lanes as we knew they were looking for a new venue for its unique leisure offering that required a large and open plan layout, which is uncommon in the city centre.”
Having opened its first site in Leeds 11 years ago, Roxy Lanes now operates venues across the UK.
Roxy Leisure’s sales and marketing director, Joel Mitchell, added: “Since opening our largest Roxy Ball Room venue in Nottingham on The Cornerhouse back in 2017, the site has always received the utmost support from the locals.
