Raleigh, the much-loved British bicycle brand from Nottingham has unveiled two new retro Choppers.

For the second year in a row, the brand has created limited edition versions of the retro bike - in two colours, Fizzy Lemon and Space Blue.

Last year, Raleigh relaunched a near replica of the iconic bike following five years of research and product development.

Bringing the bike back for the modern day has legally required some small changes but it is as close to the original as possible - with the classic one-piece saddle, mid-frame gear shifter, and sissy bar. 

In 2023, the return of the Chopper became headline news as fans flocked to find out how they could get their hands on the bike.

The full run sold out online in minutes, and in-person sales at Raleigh in Nottingham saw overnight queues.

Due to anticipated high-demand, this year Raleigh will be using an online queuing system to enable people to purchase the ultimate piece of British nostalgia. 

This year marks 55 years since the launch of the first Chopper, but mention it today and countless people have a special memory or story about the bike.

As part of launching the revived colours for 2024, Raleigh spoke to hundreds of brand fans who shared some of those snippets of history.
