Last year’s event proved so popular that the Ruddy Fine Express will return this September

An award-winning Nottinghamshire gin producer is running a bottomless gin experience on a luxury steam train later this year.

Ruddington-based Ruddy Fine launched its Ruddy Fine Express last year, with the event quickly selling-out.

Due to the high demand, the 1920’s-themed steam train experience will return to the Grand Central Railway on Thursday, September 5.

Beginning at the Grand Central Railway’s Loughborough base at 6.15pm, the boozy evening will start with a cocktail reception.

A short time later, passengers will board the Ruddy Fine Express and begin their journey through the rich countryside.

Those on board will then tuck into a three-course meal at their own private table.

Throughout the evening passengers will be able to enjoy a full range of Ruddy Fine gins while watching the world go by.

The train will return to Loughborough at 10pm, meaning those on board will have three hours to sample as much gin as possible.

Ruddy Fine Gin has won multiple awards over recent years, including the Best New Alcohol Product of 2021.

Tickets, which start at £134 per person, can be booked here.
