Additional dates have been added due to exceptional demand!

Nottingham history enthusiasts have been given further opportunities to tour the eerie catacombs beneath a city cemetery. 

At the start of the year, it was announced that the catacombs underneath Rock Cemetery, next to the Forest Recreation Ground, would be open for public tours on selected dates in January and February.

Tickets for these tours were soon snapped up before an additional date was added for March.

Now, due to exceptional demand, further tours have been scheduled for April and May. 

The guided tours, set to take place on April 27 and May 25, will provide visitors with a unique experience beneath the cemetery. 

The catacombs said to be one of the most haunted locations in Nottingham, opened to the public for the first time in 2019.

Rock Cemetery, officially called Church Cemetery, opened in 1856 and is the final resting place for several notable people, including architect Watson Fothergill

Tickets are priced at £14 and can be purchased here.
