The event will take place on Saturday, June 29 from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

The Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service LGBT+ Proud Friends Network will also be in attendance to offer support and engage with the community.

Robyn Pedley, National Ice Centre, said: “Our ice skating sessions are open to everyone all year round, so to celebrate Pride month, we’re proud to be holding a Pride disco session for all members of the ice skating community to celebrate acceptance and inclusion with us.”

The ice centre’s neighbours Saltbox will be celebrating all afternoon as well with a Pride Party Silent Disco, taking place 1pm – 5pm. It’s free entry and there’ll be 2-4-1 cocktails too.

The skating parties are very popular so advance booking is advised to avoid disappointment.  For more information and to book, go to www.national-ice-centre.com/whats-on/pre-pride-disco
