With administrators set to be appointed within days, the future of Nottingham’s Body Shop store has been cast into doubt.

The Bridlesmith Gate store is one of more than 200 Body Shop outlets across the UK.

Founded by Dame Anita Roddick in 1976, The Body Shop became well-known for its ethical trading ethos and refusal to test beauty products on animals.

According to its website, The Body Shop employs 10,000 people and operates 3,000 stores in 70 countries.
