Nottingham Rothesay Open 2024: Tennis stars to descend on Nottingham for ‘Wimbledon warm-up’ tournament

Some of the biggest names in tennis are to descend on Nottingham this weekend for the Rothesay Open. 

The tournament, held at the Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre, will act as one of the main warm-up competitions before the Wimbledon Championships begin on Monday, July 1.

Between Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 16, some of the sport’s best players will aim to get into their rhythm ahead of Wimbledon. 

Household names including Emma Raducanu, Dan Evans and Cam Norrie will take part in the tournament. 

Last year saw Andy Murray win the tournament for the first time, while British number one Katie Boulter won her first Women’s Tennis Association trophy.

The Nottingham complex is home to over 40 tennis courts, including 13 pristine grass courts and is the largest public tennis centre in Great Britain.
