Based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, the Red Arrows had flown almost 5,000 displays in 57 countries by the beginning of 2024 – the team's 60th season.

The team’s jaw-dropping summer displays across the country attract hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts.

Although the Arrows won’t be performing at any shows here in Nottinghamshire this summer, that doesn’t mean residents will miss out on seeing them.

The county’s close proximity to the team’s Lincolnshire base means that the famous red jets regularly pass over Nottinghamshire while transiting to and from events, as is the case this Sunday (June 23).
