Pick your own strawberries farm opens near Nottingham as prices and dates confirmed

A Nottinghamshire farm has opened its pick your own strawberry fields for the first time this summer.
The Oaks Lane farm in Oxton, near Southwell, is best-known for its annual ‘pick your own pumpkin’ events, but is now offering strawberries for the first time.

Hide AdThe pick your own strawberry patch, which opened on Saturday, June 22, proved so popular that the farm sold out of strawberries.
As a result, the pick your own fields will be closed today (Monday, June 24).
Depending on fruit availability, it’s hoped that the farm will be open seven days a week throughout the summer.
Standard entry is priced at £5, which includes the first punnet of strawberries picked.

Hide AdPremium entry, priced at £8, provides visitors with an extra-large punnet.
On-site food and drink will be provided by the Little Schnauzer Coffee Company.
Booking is not required, but visitors are advised to check the farm’s social media pages for updates on fruit availability.
