Nottingham World readers have been sharing their thoughts on the bizarre child-like bollards used to make drivers slow down on a city road. 

The multicoloured bollards are installed in Windmill Lane, next to the Sneinton C of E Primary School.

With their expressionless faces and regimental stance, the strange bollards have certainly divided opinion. 

Some readers think that the seven-strong gang of mannequin-like bollards are an effective traffic calming method, but others believe they’re a bit too much on the creepy side. 

Some of the bollards have been vandalised, with their semi-disfigured faces only adding to a sense that their eyes follow drivers as they pass.
