'Nasty assault' at Nottingham Wetherspoons left teenage girl needing reconstructive surgery on face

A teenage girl needed reconstructive surgery after she was hit in the face with a glass bottle on a night out in Nottingham.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to a "very nasty assault" at the Roebuck Inn, a Wetherspoons pub, on St James's Street shortly before midnight on October 27.

She was hit in the face with a glass bottle after trying to calm the situation, leaving her with 13 damaged teeth and cuts to her lip.
Now, officers have released an image of a man they would like to speak to as part of an appeal.
He is pictured wearing a fancy dress outfit in the style of Waluigi, a character from the Mario franchise.

Hide AdPC Ben Harwood said: "She sustained injuries which consist of a number of teeth being damaged and she is undergoing reconstruction surgery for these injuries.
"We are determined to find the person responsible and are releasing an image of a man we are keen to trace, as we believe he may have information that could assist the investigation."
