The artisan bakery has a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 on TripAdvisor and boasts a string of glowing reviews.

Freelife3 wrote on TripAdvisor: "A perfect local bakery with great staff and produce. I have been buying my sourdough bread at Tough Mary's since they opened.

"The variety is fantastic, especially the full of flavour baguettes, crunchy on the crust and soft inside. Probably best in the Midlands. The croissants are a treat and the range of savoury bites excellent. Luckily I live 15 minutes walk away. Wishing them all a great future."

Evvie A simply described it as "perfection" adding: "Passing through Nottingham and got a selection of sandwiches for myself and my colleagues. The miso Brussels sprout sandwich was the standout, followed closely by the whipped Stilton and roasted veg, so so delicious.

"I also got the banana bread which was absolutely perfect, nice and moist without being too dense!"

Better still, you can stop by and enjoy a hot drink and a treat on-site too, we've heard good things about the specialty hot chocolates!

Tough Mary's on Derby Road, is open Tuesday - Friday from 8:30am until 3pm and from 9:30am on Saturdays.
