A Nottinghamshire Wetherspoons pub remains for sale several months after being listed on the market. 

The Regent, in Diamond Avenue, Kirby-in-Ashfield, was one of 11 Wetherspoons pubs put up for sale last September.

Eight months later, the pub - which remains open - is still looking for a buyer. 

The pub, formerly the Regent Cinema, has an asking price of £400,000 and has a prominent location in Kirby-in-Ashfield town centre.

The three-storey building has a pitched roof design with a beer garden to the rear offering seating for around 60 people. 

The large bar area includes enough seating to accommodate 170 customers.

An existing alcohol licence attached to the pub permits the sale of alcohol until 12am Monday to Thursday and until 1am Friday to Sunday.

The Regent, which has an average TripAdvisor rating of 3.5/5 from 131 reviews, is currently open between 8am and 12am Sunday to Thursday and 8am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. 

Should the pub close following any potential sale, the nearest Wetherspoons pubs to Kirby-in-Ashfield will be the Picture House in Sutton-in-Ashfield and the Stag and Pheasant in Mansfield.
