Creating 30 new jobs, Aldi’s brand-new store will offer fresh, British meat products with weekly offers, the award-winning ‘Specially Selected’ range, exclusive beers, wines and spirits, and a ‘food to go’ section at the main entrance.

Aldi’s Specialbuys will also be available in the middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday, providing value on a wide range of products, from electrical items to garden tools.

Built on land next to The Becket School and Wilford Lane Retail Park, the new supermarket will be open between 8am and 10pm from Monday to Saturday and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays.

Construction teams were on site finishing building work at the supermarket ahead of the grand opening.

Store Manager Alex Smith said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to the new store in West Bridgford.

“It’s set to be a special day and having Paralympic hero Tully Kearney join us will make it a morning to remember.”

Para-swimming Tully Kearney added: “I’m so excited to be opening Aldi’s new store; it will be great to chat to customers and a lovely way for me to thank Aldi for its support of ParalympicsGB.”
